Do I need an existing account to order?

If you have not ordered from us before then we will create an account when you place your first order. We can also create an account should you wish to order in the future; simply contact us. You do not need an account to use the shopping basket, and existing accounts do not automatically have a basket set up; if you want to make use of the shopping basket then you will need to register if you have not already done so.

Can my company be invoiced for orders?

This facility is only available to companies in the UK. If you do not have an existing account then we can create one for your company. However, we require payment with the first order and you will need to complete a business terms application form. If you place an order through the site please mention in the comments field that you also require business terms and we will include the necessary forms with the order.

Can I order books that are not listed on this site?

Although we try and list all of the books that are currently available on the site and in our catalogue we are still often able to obtain other titles. If you cannot find the book(s) you are looking for then please use our feedback form or send a message to www@computer-manuals.co.uk with as much information as possible, such as title, author, ISBN and publisher.

I don't want to order over the Internet. How can I place my order?

You can also order by telephone, fax, or post; for these details please read our contact information.

The order form asks for my credit card details, but I don't trust the Internet to be secure. Can I still order the books?

When you have a secure link to our site the order forms will include fields to enter your credit card details. However, these are not required fields and if you choose no on the credit card payment section we will contact you for payment; if you supply a telephone number then we will ring you, otherwise we will e-mail you to tell inform you of the payment options.

If some of the books I order are not in stock, will the order be held until all of them are available?

If any of the titles are not currently in stock we will despatch all those that are available. As other titles come into stock they will be sent out.FAQ Main Menu
